Gobustan reserve will cooperate with Kazakhstan's Tanbaly reserve

The delegation led by the director of the Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve Vugar Isayev visited the Republic of Kazakhstan.

AZERTAC reports based on the information obtained from the Ministry of Culture that the delegation visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. At the university, an exhibition about Gobustan rock monuments was organized as part of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the state sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Representative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kazakhstan Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, director of the Tanbaly State Historical-Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum of Kazakhstan Madyar Amirgaliyev and vice-rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Aliya Masalimova attended the opening of the exhibition. During the event, on behalf of Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve, books and catalogs about Gobustan rock monuments were presented to the university library.

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve and the Tanbaly State Historical-Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum. Besides, an exhibition of Gobustan monuments was opened at the Tanbaly Reserve-Museum. According to the memorandum, an exhibition of Tanbaly rock art monuments will be organized in Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve.

It was noted at the event that a preliminary agreement had been reached with Al-Farabi National University of Kazakhstan to sign a memorandum on the study and promotion of Gobustan rock monuments. According to the document, students obtaining the master of museum studies at the university will have an opportunity of two-week internship in the Gobustan reserve.
