Online trainings held as part of project Digital Girls

 

The implementation of the social project Digital Girls, which is aimed at developing women’s knowledge in information technologies and increasing their interest in ICT in Azerbaijan, is being implemented successfully.

As part of the project, 560 schoolgirls and young girls attended the trainings on digital technologies.

At the two-day trainings conducted by instructors of the ICT Applying and Training Center (ICT LAB) of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the girls, along with computer technologies, were also able to learn personal development skills and ways to achieve success with their application. They also learned about the possibilities of building a successful career in the field of ICT.

The last online trainings held as part of the project during the special quarantine regime were attended by schoolgirls and young girls from Baku, Zagatala, Shamakhy, Mingachevir, Gabala, Aghdash, Shabran and Khirdalan. The project participants were awarded certificates and gifts.

It should be noted that the project Digital Girls – National Training Program is held on the initiative and financial support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and UNESCO, and organized by the ICT Applying and Training Center (ICT LAB). The project is also supported by Regional Development Public Association, Aztelecom LLC and the WoWoman platform.
